Owner HeadStart - People only. 4 sessions - each class is 2 hours in length. This class is for those looking to
get a new puppy or dog OR for current puppy/dog owners who want more information about having a puppy/dog.
This class covers all those important issues not addressed in regular classes as well as answer all those
questions that many people generally have about puppies/dogs. Some of the topics covered are finding a good
puppy or older dog, housetraining, proper socialization to people, dogs and other animals, grooming, safety and
1st Aid, what is normal dog behavior plus much, much more. (limit of 8 people) *4 classes
Puppy Socialization Outings - For puppies 7 - 20 weeks only (puppies age out once they reach 20 weeks).
Each Outing is 45 minutes long and is held in different locations for that critical early puppy socialization to new
people, sights, sounds and smells. A one-time registration session of ½ hour, (charge $10.00), for just owners
is required. (limit 8 puppies/instructor).

PuppyTime (Beginnings) – For puppies 7 - 20 weeks (must be 20 weeks or under). 30 minute session each
week. PuppyTime is a leash free pre-school where puppies get to socialize/play with other puppies and people,
start to work on some beginning manners and be introduced to gentle handling by people. A combination of
motivation and food lure are used. Children 8+ years are welcome to attend with their parents. You may pay per
session or pay for up to 9 sessions at one time. An owner orientation is needed before puppies may come to a
session. (limit 8 puppies/session) *1 orientation for owners and 1-12 sessions
Puppy I - Foundation – For graduates of the PuppyTime class or puppies 3 months - 8 months. 8 week session
with 1.5 hour classes (12 total hours of instruction time - includes an orientation). In Puppy I you and your puppy
will work on the start of basic 'good puppy' behaviors such as coming when called, walking nicely on a loose lead,
waiting at doors, etc. Handling and socialization/play time are included in each class. Clicker and positive reward
training are used. (limit 8 puppies/class) *1 orientation + 7 classes

Puppy II - Advancement – For graduates of 'Puppy Foundation I'. This is an 8 week session with 1.5 hour
classes and a graduation, (12 hours of instruction time - includes graduation). In Puppy II you and your young
adolescent puppy/dog will continue improving and proofing the behaviors you learned in Puppy I. The AKC
S.T.A.R. Puppy Test is given at the graduation. (limit 8 puppies/class) *7 classes + graduation

Doggie Basics - (Offered currently through Dragorra Training) For adolescent puppies/dogs, 9 months of
age and older that missed out starting in the Puppy I classes. This is an 8 week session with 1 hour classes.
Basic 'good dog' behaviors are worked on such as coming when called, walking nicely on lead, waiting at doors,
etc. Clicker and positive reward training are shown. (limit 8 dogs/class)
CGC Prep – This a wonderful goal to work towards for any dog owner, there is no age limit and any dog, mixed
breed or purebred can participate. A 5 week session consisting of 1.5 hour classes that works on all the
exercises for the CGC Test.. Please visit the AKC CGC website for more information. CGC Tests will be
scheduled within 2 weeks of class completition. (limit 6 dogs/class)
Basics Refresher – For all Puppy I, II and Basic I graduates. Drop in for a 4 week session with your puppy/dog,
add a bit more polish or just do some refreshing on the basic behaviors. (*** class is offered 2-3 times per year)
**For Adult dogs with behavioral issues that might make it hard for them to attend a regular class we offer private
lessons or Adult 4 On 4 (a class for just 4 adult dogs and their owners where we can work on the basic behaviors
needed by all dogs as well as some behavioral issues) - please call for more information.

Loose Leash Walking to Competition Heeling - Work with your dog to get not only nice loose leash walking but
a solid start on Competition Heeling. The perfect foundation for all off-leash walking/heeling. 8 wks-$160.00
Rally/Obedience Foundation- Are you interested in trying Rally or Obedience for competition with your dog,
make sure you and your dog have the basic exercises need to do one or both. 8 wks-$160.00
Rally Obedience - Learn the signs and what is needed for competing in AKC Novice through Excellent courses
and for ASCA, UKC and APDT Novice courses. 8 wks-$160.00
Puppy Conformation - For puppies 10 weeks -10 months. Work to have that puppy ready to enter a
Conformation Show. Using positive reward and clicker training to get a puppy that shows like a pro. 8 wks-$135.00
Scent-sational Fun Nose Work - For puppies 4 months on and all adult dogs - "Any dog with a nose can do this!"
Treibball - "Ball herding" for the energetic dog. This fun activity will teach your dog to "herd" yoga balls for fun
or competition.
Freestyle Basics - Learn to dance with your dog for fun or competition. This is a great way to bond with your dog
as well as get in some great exercise.

**AKC Novice Obedience and Open Obedience - by appointment or class scheduled if enough interest

| Classes are held indoors at 210½ 1st Ave. in downtown Laurel and also at the Dragorra Training Center at 5414 Danford Dr. on the Billings westend. Positive Motivation and Marker/Clicker Training shown. Class sizes are limited to allow for more individual attention. Families with children are always welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a 2nd adult. Private Sessions available upon request on an individual basis.
